Excellent condition. Made in France. Staggered ferrule set up with original plug; green silks tipped with red; comes with original P&M rod bag and tube although the tube is four inches longer than the rod. One tip has a good size set in it, which can be removed with heat. The action is on the medium side of medium fast

There are also some slight marks in the varnish from normal use

This suggests that none other than Walter Dingley made this reel (check out the spindle)

with the resulting ability to use the light pawl for minimal resistance
